Both the beef and the lamb were tender and tasty, great selection of lovely roast potatoes, yorkshire pud and several different vegetables, all done perfectly. Sauces and extra gravy supplied were also excellent. Desert was a cheesecake (shared) with plenty of cream which was also excellent. Menu costs, including drinks of one pint of nice IPA and one white wine spritzer came to £40, amazing value for a great lunch. Decor fairly plain but very clean and friendly waitress service, what's not to like? Highly recommended

Then the magic happened the food. I’m no fancy connoisseur I just like being fed good food. Myself ,wife and son all cleaned our plates and my son is the fussiest eater ever. We’re returning again for sunday dinner before returning home to Scotland and will definitely return here next time down this way to visit family.

One of the best local pubs - The fleet is a fantastic pub, dermot is amazing and his staff are always helpful and friendly I have been coming here for years and always had the best nights... read in full and Sunday lunches too, it’s a little hidden back from the road but if your looking for a relaxed place to drink and meet people, then you won’t be disappointed, and also this is a great venue to hire for private function once inside you see just how big it is.

Lovely Sunday Roast - Lovely Sunday roast, meat was very good quality, good choice of vegetables all cooked just right. Roast potatoes and Yorkshire pud spot on. Fantastic value.

Lunch time meal - The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be returning again. There is plenty of car parking very close by.
